0. But I have eaten in really good mexican restaurants and I've eaten in tex-mex restaurants, and they are quite different. Mexican food is great, tex-mex food is a shitty american amalgamation.

Mexican food and Tex-Mex is akin to Chinese takeout and actual Chinese cuisine.

You ever eaten at ****ty Mexican places or trucks though? Now that's where it's at my dude.

Some Americanized restaurants are pretty good and "nice" (expensive).

I have a friend that has a food truck. It's in a college city [like half a dozen colleges there in Columbia, MO], so tons of business. College towns always have great food.

I went to Mexico once, years ago. The food was good. I'm used to bastardized American versions of Mexican dishes. I'll murder some Taco Bell.

Just making sure that's what you meant.

When I was in SD, we at eat this place a lot. La Fachada. It's in a fun part of SD. Not much English spoken. There were flies. We still ate there nearly every day. The food was that f*cking good.

Look at me giving Frown a food rec in his own damn city from across the country.
