Not really my thing but I understand being frustrated and needing some schadenfreude to take the edge off. Most of these people are just victims of misinformation but plenty of them aren't innocent and none of them are harmless.

But I'll laugh at Herman Cain's dead ass all day. **** you, Herman Cain. The world is a better place without you in it.

I think the last line was telling: “…Maybe it’s persuading people specifically because it’s not trying to” - which is a way of saying that sometimes just putting the truth out there in an in-your-face garish way just might get more attention than what can appear as “preaching” to the ignorant jackasses out there. Diseased lungs on cig packages, etc.
