i'm not exactly sure why you would need a security update for fucking windows works.

to possibly help in this error, my only advice would be to go into the control panel and see if the update shows as installed there. if it is, uninstall it then go to windows update to check for updates again. you could try reinstalling it. past that maybe search online for the update and you could stumble on the microsoft post about it.

but my recommendation would be to uninstall the windows office programs and get openoffice. i'm not positive, but i bet your files from the other programs are compatible with it.

This isn't really a problem but does anyone know how to burn a protected DVDs on to the hard drive of the computer, so I can watch it without the disk. I have looked on the internet for ways to do this but all the programs seem complicated and don't tell me whether I can actually do it or not.
