Not exactly a die hard fan, but he made Eurovision watchable for many years.
^ I didn't know he'd died Goofle. Thanks for the update.

Likewise, I was not a fan. In fact I thought that the BBC gave him far too much airtime - radio progs, chat shows, etc. But the BBC do that; they get a school-girl crush on some personality and over-expose them; Jimmy Young, Jeremy Clarkson, Jimmy Saville....

Dave Mirra dead, can't say I knew much about him other than he had BMX games on PS1 around the same time Tony Hawk was killing it.

And - Earth, Wind & Fire soul band founder Maurice White dies - BBC News

Okay. a month late posting this... I think the David Bowie death eclipsed it... but Angus Scrimm died on January 10th. As A huge Phantasm fan that oen made me sad.

I was just reminded now looking through the deaths so far this year.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead at West Texas ranch - San Antonio Express-News

Now the constitution as we know it will fall into a heaping pile made up of the seams of liberalism and the graves of our founding fathers will be a host to rolling parties.

Or simply put, common sense will reign again. That dude has been the hardest block-headed conservative rock in decades.

RIP.

Default RIP Viola Beach

British band reportedly killed in car crash in Sweden | Nyheter | Aftonbladet

Tragic that the entire band and their manager drove off into the canal. How could they miss that the bridge was open?
