Look, I'm not glossing over the fact that he carried the water for Herr Bush during his first term (and I'm sure a lot of his anti-Trump rhetoric was out of loyalty to the same crowd). He got brownie points from some liberals afterwards when he endorsed Obama but endorsing Obama as a black man is way less of a stand out moment then the whole WMD thing...
