Default Foster Fest 2012

Yours truly has been deemed "Grand Marshall" of Foster Fest 2012 and will be kicking off the festivities with the Star Spangled Banner on guitar. This will be 3 years running that I've had the opportunity to play at this incredible event. If you can, come on out and support a very worthy cause (Make A Wish foundation), and hear some great music.

Not gonna lie, foster fest makes me think you're playing at an adoptive parents convention.

It was a beautiful day for the Fest, had a great time and they made over 7k for the MAW foundation. Here's some pics:

They had Chicken ***** Roulette, which was silly but fun. Here's the star of that show:

...and here's the roulette wheel:

Here's the Grand Pubah doing the SSB (it was a bit rushed due to a late sound check, and the sound quality blows, but it is wut it is):

I'll be back next year to do it again!

Just got asked to do it again this year. Think I'll mix it up this time and throw in some of the Marines Hymn at the end.

For the remainder of this month, I shall be requesting people call me Grand Marshall (Maestro, Grand Pubah, or The Virtuoso are also acceptable).

Looks like a decent turn out every year. Almost like a Renaissance Fair look to it with the beer garden tables.

Those pics are from early in the day. It gets packed around sundown when the main acts go on. They usually have 3 pigs roasting and it all gets eaten. Thats a lot of pork.

My sound will be better this year too since I've had time to get used to my HD500. Plus, I know Kevin (the sound guy) and all his tricks, so I'll be ready for him. Last year he cranked me up "After" I had sound checked. Not the correct way to do it.
