I see what you mean about getting suckered into manipulation because that's how it felt that first night she asked for money. That's a good point about drinking when you have a kid, that should be my red flag. I appreciate yalls replies and I'll probably do what you say SGR, about wishing her the best but cut off texting back going further. I just don't think a relationship would work if she is drinking and I'm not drinking.

Yeah, I have to agree with SGR. It sounds like the girl is taking advantage of you. I'd distance myself from her as fast as I could.

Yes, I suppose I was naively trying to put the best spin on things for Mindfulness's sake - but you' re being more realistic, SGR. In fact in most cases, a good hard-working mom is likely going to fall asleep herself the minute her kid lets her.

Absolutely. Same goes for a good hard-working dad. Kids are precious, but they're absolutely exhausting.

I've heard about enough relationship horror stories to know the genesis of one when I see it (or hear about it in this case).

I absolutely love women. But men have been socially conditioned to please women. That's what we do. And that's a good thing for society and civilization. But women know, consciously or not, about our proclivity for pleasing them. And women know how easily they can hypnotize us - and they can either use this power for good...or for evil. Outside of all the other red flags if you don't drink but still want to socialize you can always order virgin drinks or like club soda to have something in your hand that gives the appearance you are drinking without the need for consuming alcohol.

yeah, it felt like that and pretty much is, Im not sending any more money if she asks. She texted back yesterday talking about starting a podcast lol
