He's kinda like a sitcom: where either you are involved in it, watching it all the time and what the characters do in it is hilarious; or where you hardly ever watch it and when you do watch it the characters seem lame.

Butthead's a joke. He revels in the fact nobody values him as a human being who will make any sort of contribution to society at any point in his life and will die alone.
