If you have an appointment with any type of doctor or dentist who plans on drilling into your body in any way, shape, or form, lay off the alcohol the night before.

Residual alcohol diminishes the affects of the medicine they inject you with to help you sleep, and/or, muffle pain. Trust me on this one.

Root Canal: ended up needing 2 additional needles of Novocaine to stunt the pain because I got wasted the night before. Burn baby burn.

Colonoscopy: woke up in the middle of it just in time to see the doctor.....

(you don't want to know.)
