Looking for your best and worst Star Trek episodes

He couldn't say it if it wasn't true.

I think the biggest mistake was trying to copy Wrath of Khan in the first place. Trekkies typically agree that it's the best movie of the franchise. Why even attempt to recreate it?

Yeah, it just smacks of cashing in on the big success the franchise had. Besides, Khan's story runs from being exiled in the SS Botany Bay and floating in space in suspended animation to being revived by Kirk and the crew in "Space Seed", then trying to take over the Enterprise and being exiled on Ceti Alpha V, where Chekov finds him in Wrath of Khan, to Khan then battling Kirk in the Reliant and finally being killed when the Genesis Device explodes. Where, in all of that, is there room for "alternative adventures" for Khan?

I hadn't put the thought into it, but it's true. Khan was a busy man.

It didn't feel right to see Kirk in the radiation chamber instead of Spock. I guess the director had to do that, otherwise the original writer would have sued for plagiarism.

The Wrath of Khan was just great. Ricardo Montalban said it was one of his favorite roles he played.

No kidding. I felt he put more hate into the role, i.e hatred for Kirk, than Benny. Benny wasn't a bad Khan. It's just that the bar was set so high.

I am a huge fan, particularly of the original series!

Does anyone else not like the ''Q'' episodes on Next Generation?

I'll post my favourite episodes later.
