^i'm assuming someone went and changed the password, making the account unavailable to everyone else? if so then does the forum not have a way to disable the option to change the password for a particular user account?

Also, make sure to delete your sent messages after you send them. Unless you want everyone seeing who you're sending letters to.

Someone used it to send some very abusive PM's to members.

It was likely Dirty, and the butthead account was still active at that time so a public password (which I don't think we had?) wasn't the issue.

i see. so you're saying instead whoever made the account should field pm's from everyone else and pass them on as the anonymous user? or have i got it wrong?

Just browsed the first few pages of last year's thread, yeah I'm wrong, could have sworn it was either in the first post or I asked what it was and it was posted in the thread.
