I don't understand this, non admitting that. It doesn't make you superficial it just makes you aware that the outside is the first thing you see before they ever open their mouth and let their beautiful personality shine through.

If I were single and met a really tatted up chick who I thought was hot, I might expect her to not be interested in me unless I myself were covered in tats and somehow visibly belonged to some kind of tatty-culture. Obviously she cares about outward appearances and like them to be a certain way.

I do too, but not that much, I think. A woman could be hot as hell, but if I think she's a bad person, I'm not gonna want to have sex with her.

I am saying when you first see this person you are either yay or nay. Then once you get to know them the yay or nay sensor goes away and you just might do someone a little off the beaten path for your taste profile based on their oh so wonderful personality.

No it's not A tattoo is something you choose to put on yourself to dress you up, like a (permanent) piece of clothing or an accessory. Needless to say, ethnicity isn't.

edit : Well, I take that back. You got a point. I guess I would expect a black woman to prefer black men. But more so with tats, I think?

Yeah, but as I mentioned, the initial yay or nay often dictates whether or not you're gonna f.ex speak to them in the first place. It doesn't have to, but it often does. So the initial yay or nay could effectively ruin my chance of finding out that she indeed loves tatless guys.

I am just being real with it when I say you are attracted to what catches your eye when you first meet someone, if you weren't we would have died off as a species a long long time ago. Fact. As much as our conscious minds want us to be attracted to another person for all the right reasons, their personalities, their taste in things, their values, whatever, we are attracted to what we see primarily. I don't find myself staring a mans dick, thinking I wonder what his opinions on foreign policy are.

My point is that his opinion shouldn't dictate her appearance, and he seems to be the only one here who actually understands that. That's how she feels she wants to look. You're very lucky that your appearance and your aesthetic concept is mainstream. Imagine being in her position, the way you are. Although -- knowing you, if tattoos were the normality, you'd probably be covered head to toe like the product that you are, because apparently, as you've implied here, your self worth is dictated completely by whether or not men find you attractive.

This looks like a subconscious implication that there is something wrong with being gay or asexual. It's surreal how subconscious your heteronormativity is. You probably didn't even realize how offensive it is to say someone is supposed to be sexual. You're saying that we are supposed to be attracted to other people, so t hat we can procreate, but this point of view blatantly implies some degree of malfunction within my psyche, as a gay person, because I'm attracted to other males, and I can't procreate with other males. So thank you for that.
