I'm not sure which I would choose, if I had to. The job is only temporary, at least initially, until March of next year. It would be a bit of a gamble to turn down a guaranteed wage until then.

Sympathise 100% with you fella. Unemployment is really messing me up monetary, physically and mentally. I have now applied for 32 jobs since the turn of the year and received one interview and one email saying no thank you.

Haha, once I get started on the current employment climate I find it hard to stop. It's something I can really go on about. It's not even just that though, it's just the people around me who are also in my situation but who don't seem to care. And these little fuckers who are out of work for a matter of days until they find a job. How do they do it?!

I can't even describe how much I would get out of working for the next 10 months or so. It would be a much bigger deal to me than it should be, simply because of how long I have been out of work. The lack of money is a pain in the arse, but it's an emotional headfuck.

Despite Cheltenham having a reputation as an affluent place to live, it has recently been declared as one of the worst jobs to unemployed ratios in the country

Damn. I seem to remember reading something similar about Sunderland, but I could be wrong. I've been lucky in the past, I've walked out of a job and straight into another. I knew it was gonna be bloody difficult this time around, much more so than before, and I knew it would get tedious and frustrating. I just didn't realise how emotionally shattering it would be.

My youngest asked me if we could go somewhere in the easter holidays even if it's just bowling or something and I felt like the biggest **** up ever when I said that I probably couldn't afford to do much.

Don't be too hard on yourself, I'm sure you'll have a good time no matter what you decide to do. I take my nephew to the playground/park, he'll bring baseball and he always find some kids to play with there. His mom takes him to a lake to feed the swans; she says she can't afford much but she prefers something like that with him. As long as kids are out and about they're having a good time.

I mean, I know the boy's bathroom is closed and all because some dip**** tagged the mirrors (6 months ago), but surely he could've just closed and locked the stall....

Also, Hello Dolly rehearsals (especially today) are stressing me out. I'm just glad Superjail is back on again.
