You'll get somethin' i'm sure. Just have to be patient. If you have any temp agencies around where you live, I'd strongly suggest contacting one.

I can chain wrestle well. Took a shine to it, as it were, and can do a chain wrestling sequence one time and know it forever. I just want to be great at offense, too. I don't know...I'm good at counters, good at working just using the office, and can protect myself and my opponent effectively...I just haven't really come into my own yet. I can work, but I need an excellent character that isn't too gimmicky.

Oh, and I spent a lot of today trying to decide on my theme music. I'll be working matches (for $!) Soon, and need a good theme. Got a list of 20+ that has been short-listed to 3.
you wrestle now? How long you been at training?

i'm pretty high up the food chain so i can get away with a lot of stuff

Don't know why you guys are having a go at Duce.
He's put in his time and earned a Law Degree.
If anyone complaining at him slacking had Duce's commitment to stick to something as long as he has, they wouldn't be unemployed.

The main ones are "Champion" by Grinspoon and "The Right Stuff" by Monster Magnet. If I can remove the dialogue, "Gimme the Prize" by Queen is a contender. I'm probably wrestling as Andi "The A-Bomb" Alpha...but have been kind of disheartened. I've had that name / working gimmick in my head for over a year, but I'm training with a dude named Andy, and that's frustrating.

Been training a few months. Not worked a paid match yet, but I've worked matches in training and even gotten pops from the few folks watching, which has been surreal. Even more surreal has been that I'm training under a guy who worked in Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling and held titles, trained under Malenko, and worked on WCW, but have just been chatting with him like a normal guy. At first, it was like, "Holy ****!" And now it's just almost completely desensitized me.

Additionally - found WHITE hairs today. First time ever. My hair is damn near black, so this is upsetting news. I don't want to be greying at 24. I'll be 25 this month, but still...

Also got a nice 2nd interview. It's for $9 an hour, and the "second interview" has proved to be giving the employee a schedule + a drug screen. I've been sober since March. Pissing clean is not a problem and I have, in fact, pissed clean for two people already.

Cranking in $500 at the minimum per pay period + still getting to wrestle is a dream come true.
