Are you Mother Teresa?

Seriously, you seem to be a much better person than I am. Respect.

Same as what Mojo said, society needs more people like yourself.

Speaking of waiting we now have to wait until Friday. Dad was on a blood thinner for his blood pressure and they were worried about bleeding during surgery. They said he shouldn't have any visitors who have contact with young children so he doesn't pick up any viruses before surgery but that basically excludes the whole family from visiting including mum because she babysits for my sister. So now dad has to lie in hospital all week by himself hoping not to have another heart attack.

This sounds very tough on you all and its not great for your dad to be seperated from the rest of his family. Fingers crossed for this week.

Went through this with my best friends father awhile back. I was the only person not surrounded by kids that could visit him, and he was grateful to see me. Only the best man, good luck with everything.

Just had a terrifying moment. I was sitting on the couch with my dad watching tv, and my puppy Zappa was playing with his toy by our feet. Out of nowhere, he starts squealing and crying and trying to get away, but his foot was stuff in the foot of the table which curls around in a spiral at the end. Me and my dad worked his leg out of the metal table leg as he was squealing and biting us because he was so terrified by it. Thank god he didn't get his leg stuck in there too bad or we would have had to do something drastic to free him.

Zappa is fine now. I don't want to experience anything like this again.

That sucks.
I mean, I wouldn't feel bad if it was one of those fully grown dogs that are the size of puppies, but your puppy still has a chance to be something, so I'm glad that you guys freed him from the clutches of such a malicious furniture appendage and he walked away unscathed.

That damn furniture. He's going to be around 80 to 90 pounds when he's fully grown, so he's still got a ways to go.

I salute him. May he grow to be a mighty, untangled beast.

Thanks guys.

Honestly, life is so ****ty, the least we can do is make it less ****ty for those of us who probably don't get the time of day from anyone... I'm not better than anyone, I just care. It's a learned emotion, anyone can do it!
