Ah, the winters are always at least icy here, even if they are not snowy. Seeing old people fall/struggle in the weather genuinely upsets me, I have such a soft spot for old people. In saying that I have met a few who are all 'the younger generation are arseholes'.

Alright, so yesterday, it was Lee/Jackson Day in the South, which is a holiday honoring the Confederate generals Lee and Jackson. It also snowed yesterday. Do you know what that means? We had a white Lee/Jackson Day. As God intended.

Past few days my older dog has been sick. She kept having accidents and was acting really lethargic, which is exactly the type of behaviour that my last two dogs had when they died of stomach cancer. It really had me worried sick, and I had a trip planned to the vet today. However, she was acting much happier today and seemed fine so I cancelled it. I noticed when I was cleaning the lawn to mow it that there was cat litter in her stool.

She ate cat **** right out of the litter box, and I was worried that she was going to die in the night. Damn dog, thank god she's fine though.

I once had a dog that was eating dryer lint out of the trash can. Apparently dryer lint makes their poop acidic or something, cause I'd keep hearing a loud yipe come from outside and then he'd come running into the house with his tail up, trailing **** into the house.

Hey all, just letting you know that I won't be around much, or possibly at all, for the next several months. I made it to Nicaragua safe and sound a day and a half ago, and I am crazy crazy busy. I may try to stop in when I can, but who knows what will happen. For now, adios!

I love Latin America and so kind of envy you now in Nicaragua (even though I haven't visited that country) What are you doing there? and how's your Spanish?
