But seriously, welcome to Opinion Land.
Enjoy your stay.
Not a coincidence. I quoted you before your edit than redacted my quote out of respect for your finalized comment (I think your grammar joke was totally benign, btw).
And thank you, I love it here in Opinion Land.

Ah, gotcha.

Yea, I didn't care much for the joke either, as I'm no comedian and I know it, but maybe it served the purpose of improving someone's vocabulary, so at least there was some merit to it. I'm not sure where you stand on the whole "being insensitive" thing, but your input would be appreciated if it relates to Trollheart's complaint.

Well.. I think the whole incident is pretty much a throwaway thing.

The grammar was just a typo and your joke about it was, to me, innocuous.
I feel that Trollheart is a very sensitive man and you are.. not so sensitive but have no less respect for human pain than he does.

So I think his complaint insults you, but it's his nature to be hurt by your comment and to react defensively. That's why I said both of you behaved no differently than you ever have.

At the end of the day most people will defend themselves if they are called out, there's nothing really wrong with that.

Of course. I was just offering my answer to what (I think) FD was asking me.

Yeah, I was just making a passing comment. I got accused here recently of being defensive and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be. It's not always a bad thing.

Doctors get kickbacks from shilling out meds like they're candy. Honestly, I would try a more homeopathic and personal approach rather than letting Big Pharm get you hooked for life. Also, once a doctor puts a label of "Paranoid Schizophrenic" on you, you will become a second-level citizen, and you will see you personal freedoms and right be stripped and taken away from you. I seriously implore you to disregard your therapist's recommendation and do some extremely thorough research for yourself into your symptoms and natural ways to get your mind back where it needs to be. I am more than willing to help you out as much as I can brother, because these drugs are horrible that they put you on. The side effects are often worse than the conditions for which the drug is supposed to treat. PM me is you would like to talk about it. But PLEASE, DO NOT go to another doctor and get labeled and drugged. There are better option, I assure you.
Dude, I think it's totally irresponsible to tell someone to not go to a doctor and then suggest that they use unproved pseudoscience instead. Or at least have the decency to tell them that though you believe in it, that it is still unproved.

It's up to him if he take's his therapist's advice, I was just throwing in my personal experience on the matter. My personal experience dictates to at least TRY something else before getting hooked on pharmaceuticals for the rest of one's life, which is what I advised him to do. He's a big boy, he can make his own decisions. And I would hardly call natural cures a "pseudoscience." I can personally vouch for individuals that I know being cured by specific herbs, fruits, etc. when pharmaceuticals did nothing for them or even exacerbated their illnesses and symptoms. At least I'm trying to help the guy, rather than simply sit back and criticize others for doing so.

I was seeing a doctor for about 3 or 4 years before she put me on anything when talking wasn't working anymore. It might be different in the States where insurance companies and Big Pharm are just raring to go and over medicate because they only care about the $$$ and their bottom line.

Phanastasio is a lovely lady, by the way

Had this really weird vision in my dreams last night, where I treated everyone the same as if they were all projections of everything I love. My parents were my children to nurture and love rather than the other way around, my children were my grandparents.
