Honestly, one of the best things about my super close friends is how much we fuck with each other through crude jokes and harmless douchebaggery. It's just usually silly nonsense that we all won't get upset about.

I agree with Batty on this one, harmless douchebaggery is just meant in good harmless fun.

Honestly, all jokes aside, I think it is a necessary, natural part of friendship. Being able to banter back and forth in a way that's audible to others lets the world know that these people are close enough that what would cause a fight between others doesn't concern them. It casually marks them as a united group in a way that would be cheesy with proclamations of eternal friendship.

Completely agree. I have a couple close friends at work and we just mess with each other to, in a way, get through the hardships of the work day. It works wonders and we always share a good laugh.

Started about an hour ago at 5:15AM out on the patio in an epic SoCal downpour standing in 4 inches of water and continuously clearing out the small drain of muck so the water can drain off.

On the up side, I found a new hangover cure!

"It never rains in California.
But girl, don't they warn ya.
It pours. Man it pours."

Here too.. It's windy, raining for the past 12 hours, and 43F. I'm chilling inside with a cup of hot coffee and some sweats. Do nothing day.

Officially moved to Minneapolis yesterday morning, spent all day with a buddy of mine who lives here and then with my girlfriend, made friends with one of my house mates, and then later that night made friends with somebody else who offered me delicious butternut squash pie. Mmm.

Today went out with my girlfriend and another friend of ours for a somewhat spontaneous photo shoot around the city. Now off to get coffee and do homework.

Life is good.
