Had to completely disassemble my freaking oven to find what caused the house to smoke up last night when we used it. One of the pieces of strip steak I cooked last week somehow fell off the rack and ended up two layers down below the burner. PITA.

Got up early and cleaned the house, delivered a successful 2-hr presentation at work and offered some ideas our CEO is excited to implement.

In 3 months I will be working full-time for our app development company. It's completely internal - at long last, my customer service days are numbered!

They want to focus on my strengths going forward -
• blogging
• social media marketing
• Google APIs
• and providing voice-overs for clients' promotional pieces with my golden, sexy voice

And the day just kept getting better - classic Sigur Ros LPs from Europe, wildly funky 70s trousers, and other antique scores made it a perfect afternoon.

Had some practice today with a singer I met last night who also performed. We're going to be performing Summertime and Jandek's 'Nancy Sings' on Tuesday. I think we'll kill it.
