Poor people being disengaged from a sub-par education system that they don't feel is preparing them for their future? I've heard similar stuff before and like I say I think it's either a wind up or people pretending to be stupid for whatever reason.

I can understand other places being confusing but not that.

i had 2 experiences like that in high school. had one girl in my class ask if Abraham Lincoln was a real person, and another girl asked what Hitler's last name was.

I mean, a person of such idiocy in England would probably know what Germany was just cause they'd have to, but here in America where the rest of the world is "just a theory", I can believe in that level of ignorance. This wouldn't be the first time I've been flabbergasted at my coworkers' stupidity.
