I will never understand those who vilify and torment people (for months) merely for ending an unhappy relationship.
Let me know if you need some insane muscle. I've got lots of knives.

Thanks Chula. I don't doubt it! (Maybe if I built a fortress of knives around the kitchen he'd let me make food in peace without trying to pick yet another argument. Regardless, knives would improve the situation for sure.)

I've played a few 'Maiden albums to my kids and they both seem to like Powerslave the best. I'm not one to post videos of my kids on the net but trust me a two-year-old head banging to Aces High is pretty cute.

Spent all day tinkering with my laptop. I am close to admitting defeat and taking it to a local shop.

A surprising turn of events! Over the past few days, I'd spotted a few book clubs in town but hadn't really felt compelled to join, but still wanted to experience the joy of shared reading.

This afternoon a new title hit my mailbox - THE REVENGE OF ANALOG: Real Things and Why They Matter by David Sax.

I shared it to my city's record collector community on FB and there was an immediate response of shared interest. In a matter of minutes, I'd formed a book club for this title and we'll be sharing out thoughts as we read it.

Introvert achievement unlocked!

Old co-worker randomly texted me to tell me I'm a badass because he had a stroke. That's terrible news.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
