7pm - got a call, apparently leaving that night for golden, which is a three hour drive. Drove to the bank to cash paycheques so I had money, went home, showered, got ready again, packed.

9pm - got picked up, finally left the city at 10 after a few neccesary stops

11pm - stopped in canmore for food

1am - arrived in golden, started looking for motel, got sidetracked in packers bar

2am - checked into travelodge

So then we skied all day friday, and went back to find a cheaper motel, found one with a hot tub, spend most of the rest of the day drinking in the hot tub, and playing air hockey and ping pong. Went for a beer run at about 8ish, and then went back for more hottubbing, drinking, and air hockey and pool. that night was pretty much a liquid dinner.

got up at 8 the next morning to go skiing, skied all day, left golden at about 5, got home at about quarter to 8.

my weekend kicked ass.
I was going to post about my day, but now my life seems dull and pointless...cheers Jibber

You should be on here when Merkaba follows up a jibber my day, with his trekking/rock climbing/canoeing/orienteering/action man lifestyle type days.

Kinda makes a day out down the park with the kids on a rainy Manchester afternoon with the sirens blaring in the background and jossling for a spot on the park bench with the local smackheads, pale into insignificance...

...almost.

just wait till I go traveling again. all this is run of the mill boring stuff (well, skiing isnt boring, but not unusual. And yes, merkaba's treking/surfing/climbing/days of awesomeness make me jealous. Stupid work getting in the way of fun

and right-track, your day grabbed me with the mention of smackheads. Smackheads can be pretty amusing, i'd like to hear more.

Hi guys, been ages since I've been in here. Easter holidays are here, I get a week off, pretty sure it's the first time in my life where I'd rather not be on holiday, ha!
I'm on the road to the USA, got an interview with a lady from the States tomorrow, pretty informal one but it's all about finally getting in touch with the people who actually run the Camps, so that should be cool.

Lol, Jibber I don't know how you can be jealous of my course, I'm jealous of that weekend, sounded mint.

Right-track I saw a self proclaimed scouser on a board the other day, he made a comment about the Man United football team. I nearly jumped to the rescue but realised I didn't know what a scouser was, or anything about the European football league(s?). There was no force with me that day.

Unhappy

I know you don't mean that.
Alright, CLLR, how is your job at DQ going? Which I think is kind of funny, but usually they don't let dunces be managers so I can kind of respect it.
