This. I used this method for dealing with drunk sexist *******s when used to go out in ****ty places with people from high school
And regarding not having a job: I think most people would like it as long as you manage to fill your days in a way that fulfills you, and have regular social interaction. That often does not mean doing nothing though. I had very little to do for years, and if I didn't spend a large amount of time reading and listening to music I would have become very depressed then I think
