My neighbor can’t train his dog because all he ever does is yell at it to stop bad behavior. I just heard him cussing out his dog. He sounds drunk, too. He gets a dog so he can boss it around instead of loving lol.

I mean honestly no matter how smart your understanding of this or that is you still end up sounding like a combination of a grandapa and a scientist who scowls at the idea of subjectivity.

So maybe you're not as mentally capable as you think you are.
seeing that you usually misread my posts as saying something that comes closer to whatever your idealized redneck Republican adversary would say...I have to take that all that with a grain of salt

I objected to the idea of an anti scientific philosophy that throws out the ideas of science to make way for their commentary on society... I believe I was mislead as to what postmodernism was and I've since tried to look into it

Once again you haven't actually said what abstract means. I dunno how you wanna try to nail me with that charge without even being able to articulate what you mean by it. Seems like your abstraction skills could use some work as well tbh.

eventually he'll die, in his apartment alone, and after a while the dog will get hungry

That actually happened to Marie Provost, and Nick Lowe wrote a song about it.

Why do you keep assuming I'm calling you a redneck? I think your lack of understanding of abstract thought has nothing to do with you being a redneck. I think you just don't understand it cause blah.

... Why'd you only respond to the redneck part? That was just me pointing out how you tend to project your own hayseed insecurities onto me.

There was another bit about how you still haven't really said anything at all by saying I lack abstract thinking, without being able to even begin to explain what you mean by that.

I don't know if it's that he can't understand abstract thought but I completely get what you're talking about. To me it's that he has hard time understanding nuance. Like with the IQ debate he had a hard time understanding how nuanced influences could be. "Well if everybody is promised the same reward then all of the scores would rise at the same level there for the people that scored higher than others before would score higher than others still." Uh, no. His comment on natural selection shows that he doesn't really understand the concept very well either or how random evolution actually is. It's almost autistic as if he has a subtle form of Asperger's or something. Or maybe he suffers permanent brain damage from drug use. Maybe overstepping a little to suggest it. I'm no professional.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Yeh you're one to talk about abstraction. You couldn't even understand basic utilitarian ethics
