I recently watched the prequels for the first time, and now I'm watching the **** out of clone wars - I never thought I'd see the day. I did not expect to be sucked into this world, and it's especially awkward because I keep wanting to talk about it with my bestie, but she is literally married to Dave Filoni and geeking out to her over star wars is just not an element that needs to be added to our friendship.

It's not about being unique, it's about being the only person who's in on your shit. Whether or not your perspective is interesting to other people it's interesting to you cause you're going to find something to look at or think about that's interesting to you. You're able to listen to your own music while you're working right? Maybe you can find some podcasts that will provide some stimulation. There is a lot of good stuff out there. When I was riding public transit a lot podcasts saved me from that feeling of stimulation-deprivation.
