the article did not characterize the situation accurately

there's no context I could add that won't make me sound like a piece of **** enabler

but if I didn't know their situation more than I'd even like to, I would go as far as to personally intervene

charges were entirely dropped on the first arrest

they just scream bloody murder at each other and get a noise complaint

none of the charges are from his gf and she hasnt as much as a scratch on her

I'm not naive enough to think that this by itself absolves him, but the reason he got charged with a felony was because the same cop showed up to the place
