I've actually been playing through Doom 3 again. I still think it gets a bad rap.

You played either of the two newer Doom games? Both are incredible. Eternal in particular is easily the best FPS campaign I’ve ever played

I did play Doom 2016. It was okay - at the time, for whatever reason, I just wasn't as into it as I was with the older Doom games. The extra layers to the gunplay/combat I suppose didn't thrill me.

But I should probably give it another go. Doom Eternal is also on my list of things I need to play.

Just walked into the bathroom at work and some dumbass who hadn't locked the door was standing in front of the hand dryer but weirdly hunched as if he was trying to position his dick under the dryer. So I backed out to wait my turn and told myself I was probably just misinterpreting things but when the dumbass came out the crotch of his pants was soaked cause he'd obviously peed all over them. Life is good sometimes.

Doom Eternal is the best DOOM ever made at this point, imo. It takes everything its predecessor did and refines it. Gameplay feels super fluid and your attacks really pack a punch. 2016 DOOM is indeed great but Eternal is something else.
