Thanks for the info about freecodecamp.
It seems every bit of software I get interested in
has a home at "GitHub." So, freecodecamp
might just be a place I can go to learn more.
Thanks again!

Thumbs up 5 minutes of joy

Today was a very sad day, it has not been long since I lost my aunt Jen (a very close and beloved person of the whole family) and went another day without her, I did not know what to do, where to put myself, and decided to go to YouTube, and the first thing I saw were these guys (Grupo Firme & Maluma), decided to open the clip, and was very surprised, I immediately felt calm, a little fun, I forgot about my problems for a few minutes, their music pierced my heart, look, maybe you and this helps make your day a little better.

w3schools has been a good resource for me for quite a few years now:

https://www.w3schools.com/

A good supplement to Github and Freecodecamp I'd venture to guess.

That website looks nice. I have told someone in a discord server I would do this and then the 100 days of python after as he does his. That course seems good from what they say. I did the codecademy python course 3 times and was lost after. but this 100 days of python you do so many projects I would think it builds confidence because you did 100 projects. So I think.

I've done quite a few websites, but they were really simple, and I haven't touched any of that stuff in a long time. Good luck though broseph.

A bit of an update from my meeting in Boston last week:

I just submitted a structural package for one of the biggest projects I've done to date. Last weeks meeting was to address some outlying issues that weren't being conveyed to me clearly, and I gave them a deadline of 1 week for me correct everything, which is today. I feel like I just gave birth.

Congrats on the project! Having to go to Boston must have been something important

About 100k worth of important. We would have lost our bid bond on an 800k project if we let the project lead drop it due to incompetence and lack of communication. It had to be saved.

I hope I get a good Xmas bonus for this. I'm putting in a pool.

Thanks for the heads-up on w3schools.
Started learning HTML back in the 90s -
especially HTML5 about a dozen years ago,
so I'm OK with that, but there are some
fine generative art possibilities out there
that get me frustrated because I just want
to tell them "Just get on with it and make
the damn app..." or some kind of online
setup instead of dropping it at Github.
To me, it's like going to IKEA and all they
give you is a bunch of pages of awkward
graphics so you can build your cabinet,
but don't give you any actual materials.
Been dipping in Python for a while now too.

Happy to help.

The sites I created were either through Dreamweaver or 1and1's web based site creator. I only had to mess with some html on a few random things. I also went to a lot of trouble learning Actionscript for some Flash animations, and we all know where that road goes. I'm pretty decent with LISP and VB though.
