Cutting off a part of yourself is considered for each person's choice. If you want healthy hygiene you could either do it the hard way and wash daily in and out or you could cut yourself. I'm bless by parents who let me have my own skin. I shower every single day even up to 4 times at extreme times.

I'm glad I had it done as a baby, hard to say though. It's a different procedure as an adult. I'm just glad my cock is pretty and doesn't look like one of the creatures from Tremors.

Basically, I think of it as a procedure similar to scarification, which is to say it should be an informed decision made by an adult*.

Clarification: Not by a third party adult.

I understand your point here, but it's kind of irrelevant. Mutilating children because of aesthetic or religious reasons is completely abhorrent.

Edit: I knew you agreed with me, I was making the point for others.

The same goes for infection, which if not treated could lead to death.

What was my point

I was genuinely asking if it'd affect their decision

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

No it's child abuse.

Here, earlier I was asking for a source for information on the hygienic aspect of circumcision. Here's one from the WHO (not the band).

"Male circumcision is medically indicated for only a few conditions. There is substantial evidence that cir- cumcised men have a lower risk of some reproductive tract infections, as well as penile cancer, but some of these conditions are rare while others are uncommon or treatable, and routine neonatal circumcision is not currently recommended on medical grounds."

Pg. 26 http://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/1...596169_eng.pdf

Please note: I did not carry on and source check this source's sources. I don't have that much energy to devote to the internet.
