This right here.

What you're doing is FORCING a perspective I don't have onto me. If Bill wants to be called Sally I'll call him Sally all he wants but why should I have to identify him as a female if I don't see him that way? Because some magical rule decides that gender identity issues are more important than any other identity issues?
Your perspective is irrelevant. All you're being asked to do is call someone what they want to be called. How hard is the path of least resistance?

Equating corporal punishment with male circumcision is way out of control and dramatic.

If you want to be called an attack helicopter. I would do it. It doesn't take anything away from me to call anyone what they want to.

Both options are disrespectful so you might as well go all the way and just completely ignore them if you find it so hard to do this and it ends up bothering you so much.

You are definitely thinking too much to the point you think there is some magical rule. Someone comes up to you and says their pronouns are they/them. Just address them as such or don't bother interactimg with them at all.

Hard to say which is worse but I'd say hitting your children. At least male circumcision has cultural/religious reasoning behind it (obviously I understand that's not the most logical thought process) whereas hitting your kids is just being a bad human because you're not a particularly good parent.

Disciplining your kids doesn't mean you are a bad parent. It is more of a cultural thing too. All those bad ass kids acting out in grocery stores because their parents won't spank them but give them a time out pfft.

Funny video. I'm sure there are white kids that got an ass whooping growing up too but doesn't play into the narrative of his video

If it's a cultural thing, then that culture has ****ty parenting tactics.

We are specifically on about violence mate, not taking their XBox away or grounding them.

Nope. A person with a dick is not a female in my eyes. In reality a person with a dick is a male. Or a shemale. Or a hermaphrodite. I have yet to be given any kind of logical explanation or facts as to why I should think other wise.

And yes, I will address people by what gender they prefer most of the time out of politeness and the fear of making somebody feel unwelcome. But to tell me that I'm wrong and ignorant or insensitive or closed minded because I don't see a man with a dick and a beard as a female is ironically and hypocritically closed minded, bigoted and insensitive to me. It's forcing me to validate somebody else's ego by faking or hiding what I believe less I get treated a way that I would NEVER treat any of these people despite one small disagreement. I welcome them wanting to believe they are what ever gender they want but don't get treated with the same respect to believe otherwise. Like, how you dress or what you listen to or your hobby's or sexuality or gender preference does not affect me and I will not treat somebody like they are unwelcome for it. But you can't force me into believing Greenday is a good band. In your perception, they are a good band, in my perception they are a terrible band. I'm not going to call them a good band to fit your feelings. Why should I do that with gender identity? And **** most of you pretending like you care about people's feelings anyways. You're just taking an idea that's shoved down your throat with out questioning it and illogically running with it to fit in with the 'progressive' crowd and create the illusion that you are sensitive. This is shenanigans.

But yeah, I'll call people what gender they prefer. But I won't hide how I feel if it comes up. And I shouldn't be treated like a piece of **** for it.

Also, for DJ, I have a friend who used to literally introduce himself as ******. He used to tell us all to call him ******. That's what he liked to be called. I wouldn't call him that, I don't feel comfortable doing it. Just as I feel uncomfortable calling Batlord a girl. Nah, that's a big harry man. And if Bat changed his name, we'd probably all still call him Batlord. Or Charles. Because that's how WE identify him.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Spanking isn't violence.

Beating them is violence.

Would you like me to find you a link that says the complete opposite of chio's link. There are studies out there making both claims.
