life isn't inherently more difficult because of your skin colour. if i had to do life again and got to choose between being a poor trailer park white kid born to drug addicts or a suburban middle class black kid guess which one i'm taking?

being poor AND black in the current politcal climate would be pretty tough though not denying that one
Reading this in context it seems ostensibly that you're making the claim relevant to white dominated society

So dj points out race plays a role beyond determining the odds that you're born into poverty

Thanks for posting.

I don't really see how anyone can disagree with anything she's said there. I have a lot of respect for her and the fact she was willing to have an open mind, and question her own beliefs.

And lol at that suicide point she made, she is correct and it (the counter to it) has actually been posted on this thread already.

Not a MRA issue exactly, but one that gets at the toxic masculinity elements of some of the discussions in this thread. I'm fortunately in a relationship at the moment, but I've had certainly experience long bouts of 'touch isolation' - this article puts into words so many of the nebulous things I felt during those times:

How a Lack of Touch is Destroying Men

If you think there's such a thing as "toxic masculinity" could you kindly f*ck off?

Cheers.

Which YouTube video did you hear about toxic masculinity from my man?
