I called him a hero when I was stalking the forum. Went through Batty's posts and laughed plenty. While potentially offensive, it was blunt and refreshing.

Batty can be funny. I'd hate to encourage it, but I have to come clean with this.

Batty is THE MAN when it comes to his contribution to the Metal forum. I don't even want to deny this.

But Batty just has no filter, and sometimes he really really needs one. It's like the difference between the utterly brilliant Doug Stanhope or the late great Bill Hicks and the idiotic Andrew Dice Clay. Or something.

I somewhat agree with Paul.

Honestly I don't find Batty funny, no offense to those who do. I don't mind talking to him, but I'd hate to encourage him, because it's like smoking in a fireworks factory ... it's just blows up in your face. I have to come clean with this.

Batty is THE MAN when it comes to picking on me for liking female indie bands. I don't even want to deny this.

But Batty just needs Jiminy the Cricket on his shoulder, and sometimes he really really needs one bad. Or someone like that. It's like the difference between Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog or Dirty/Sansa's love child.

To clarify, I meant that he was perhaps using an alternative computer, not for monetary reasons, but so that the IP address couldn't be traced to his original account, in case he rejoins the forum under a different alias... I wasn't making a literal statement so much as painting a possible scenario...TBH I mostly went for it so I could have an excuse to work the word "shart" into my post; I never miss a shartportunity.
