Point is that natural and chemical are pointless terms and often times are used in fear mongering pseudoscience. Conventional science uses loads of natural treatments and the bulk of things marketed as a natural treatment is snake oil. The marketing of the organic industry has had a crazy effect on the world and has contributed a ****load to the anti-intellectual attitudes that are so popular in the US.

I guess you could say that blows my mind.

Yeah. But I can't help but to wonder if those have always been there and the recent changes in modern medicines have made them more known.

This is the same argument that people use with police brutality cases. Oh it's always been there but with technology nowadays we are just seeing more of it.
