Alright, I'll be starting Zelda: A Link to the Past in just a second. Was editing a video.

Well that wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. Me freaking out at Dino Crisis, but unfortunately the entire video was so laggy that it was unusable. But even though this four minute clip from it still has serious lag issues, it's still worth keeping as far as I'm concerned. Added some captions to keep you up to date on what's happening when the screen freezes (the audio is flawless throughout though) and also to mock myself as my manhood took a flying leap out of a window.

And if anyone has ever wondered what my mother sounds like, here's your chance.

Holy ****, I think I just solved a major problem. There was a program (HP Support Assistant and I think another associated program) that I didn't realize was taking up around 60% of my CPU's power, which would explain why there was so much lag when I tried streaming Link to the Past yesterday. It might also explain why I my Dino Crisis videos were so laggy. Ended the task, disabled it on startup, and now my stream seems to be working a lot better.

Don't know if this means I'll be able to record PS1 games on my emulator, but I'll take this victory regardless. **** Hewlett Packard.

Will probly do a stream today in a few hours. Might pick up Super Metroid or start Chrono Trigger. I really miss playing Chrono trigger, and it's not a grind heavy game (I don't know how you would stream a Final Fantasy game, unless you already had a big audience to pick up your slack by competing to make the most pithy comment in chat while you grinded).

Update: Yeah, Dino Crisis works better, but is still way too laggy. So still no one recording PS1 games. :(

But I'll be streaming either Super Metroid or Chrono Trigger at 5pm Eastern. Probably Chrono Trigger.

Happy to hear it. Often times there are background apps that start up automatically when you turn on your computer and my suggestion would to turn off all the ones that you don't use upon start up. I think you can do that in the control panel. If it takes a little while to start your computer up, that's probably why that happens. My computer completely starts up in less than a minute because I don't have unnecessary background apps going. It's really nice.

Okay, so I've been downloading an assload of SNES games, and am now moving on to Sega Genesis. So I've got a buttload of games I'm dying to try out, so unless a game just grabs me by the balls and won't let go, expect me to be trying a lot of things out today. Seeing as how I am maybe possibly drunk, I'm thinking about encouraging some drinking and driving with Super Mario Kart or F-Zero.
