My shoulder has been mostly alright for a week now, but I've had a cough for a while that's been getting in the way. Weezing and coughing makes for irritating audio. But I could get back any time now, even if I don't know that I'd be streaming for as long or as much. Definitely not as much.

If you play Brigandine I'd watch your stream. There's also ps1 game called Braindead 13 that plays and looks like the Arcade Space Ace that could be worth checking out.

Oh PS1 games would be too much to stream, but I could record them for Let's Plays.

I cannot recommend Brigandine enough. I know you like Fire emblem and Ogre tactics which I like too but Brigandine beats them both. If anything just play it for funsies.

I'm gonna do Dino Crisis as my first PS1 Let's Play cause you'll get to hear me scream like a little girl (my comp doesn't have quite the CPU to do recording a PS1 emulator and a face cam thing too, just the game itself and my voice).

First time doing any game footage in a while, and I tried an experiment. Not sure what to think of the results but at least I don't hate the accent. Thoughts?

You don't need to pretend.. You're pretty entertaining unintentionally, at least for the general Twitch audience. I think you'd actually do quite well if you put in the real time and effort, had a legit setup, and played more popular games (horror games pref, if you really act the way you describe you do playing alien). Lots of variety streamers do well because they are entertaining, not because anyone gives a shit about what they are doing.

It's not about pretending. I just thought doing an actual character might be fun. And I don't do popular games because I can't afford a better setup. I'd absolutely love to do an Alien: Isolation playthrough if I could. I'm still planning on doing that Dino Crisis thing, but I just haven't yet.

I also had sort of an idea with overdubbing scripted vocal parts over pre-recorded, edited gameplay as a sort of comedy series, rather than an involved playthrough.
