The solar panel dude just came to my door.

I was supposed to be selling back energy for the last three months, but they made an error in their paperwork, so I was still paying the full amount without getting anything back (which is why I did solar in the first place).

So, in typical Japanese style, the main dude came to my house and just apologized himself into the dust.

And they gave us $1500 as an apology! (I would've sold back no more than $900 in the past three months.)

Usually they don't abdicate, but the current emperor was like "fuck this, I'm out".

My Japanese coworkers are like, "can we just switch to the Western calendar, please?"

The Japanese don't use the Western calendar? Something tells me that 99% of Japanese use it but nationalism dictates that they pretend they don't.

They use both, but a lot of young people are now saying, "can we just get rid of the J-one?"

Like 2019 now on the J-calendar is H31 / R1. It's stupid.

Also, REIWA was a bad idea, because it's going to be lulz galore when the 18th year of Reiwa comes around... R18.

Put a .com on that.
