This thread made me remember getting in trouble for routinely trying to drink hot sauce out of the bottle as a child. (I also loved drinking margarita mix and would climb up on top of the fridge to steal it) I think it made me feel sophisticated and grown up, or something..? Like I was drinking a forbidden elixir.

The closest I ever came to drinking hot sauce out of the bottle as a kid was when my mom would pour hot sauce on my tongue when I said a bad word. Irish Catholics are some mean parents.
