I have a copy of The Awakening that I've never read and Tennessee Williams is a recognized playwright. That's all I got.

I read The Awakening a long time ago. Kate Chopin isn’t from Louisiana though. If you do read The Awakening, Robert Stone’s Children of Light compliments it well.

Dog Soldiers is also really good.

She came up when I searched Louisiana authors, I guess it's just because she uses it as a setting.
