I love the film too of course
just hating work, hating work culture, hating bosses

even before I was old enough to get a job I thought "wow how does everyone not see what a ****ty deal this is"

kinda funny though every movie made around that time had the same "office job bad" theme...the edgy 90's

the sociology book I was reading actually refers to Fight Club and The Matrix and to a humorous degree Office Space as "post-Goth" movies being that it's a movement of the existential grief of (primarily) the stable middle class, and the late 90's were also the time Goth went mainstream in music with Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson and such

you can see this in everyone dressing like they're about to go to a funeral in The Matrix, and in Fight Club the primary object of the movie according to the main character is Marla...

If you ever had to deal with out dated, run down, half-broken, barely functional equipment at work, then you can really empathize with their rage.

The more a comedy parodies real life the funnier it is.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

PC Load Letter is one of the most relatable experiences of the entire movie. I can feel the rage building as I type this.
