I love Christmas. A lot of the best moments of my life are associated with Christmas in one way or another. I started dating my wife around Christmas.

If anyone's interested, I make a new Christmas playlist every year on Spotify, and this one is my pride and joy. I'm very fond of the flow of the songs.

Beginning and ending on Stevens is brilliant. Nice job, Blaro.

Thanks! He makes the best Christmas music out there, but I can't just use his albums as my playlist.

If anyone is interested, I'll post all of my others from each year I've been doing it. I'm still working on this year's, so it's not ready to post yet.

I see that conservatives like their comforting traditions.

I'm not conservative, but that don't mean I can't enjoy traditions. Humans are ritualistic. We fall into patterns because they make us feel safer. I'm willing to accept that and enjoy the patterns I have chosen for myself.

Like it's even anything to be ashamed of. Traditions can be a great thing if you're doing them the right way with the right people.

It's like with music:

Trying new things is pretty sweet.

Tried and true is pretty sweet.

Spent all day waiting on the repair man to come fix my busted kitchen sink. By the time he left, it was already dinner time, so I didn't get to put the tree up today with my son as planned.
