^ Great band! I've seen them perform live several times since the early 90's. Always a good show.

^ Another of your picks that I've seen perform live. Saw them at Antone's in Austin, TX in the early 2000's. They blew me away so I started checking out their studio albums but none of them have ever come anywhere close to impressing me like that live show did.

hey at least this time i m not jealous i am not cause i ve seen them perform about the same time (2001 i googled it) in Lycabettus. for some reason they are pretty popular here and have played several times live, they collaborated with a local musician etc.....

about their albums, i like hot rail and the black light almost entirely. other than those i guess you are right about them beeing better live than recorded..

back on the bridges, here's one track i stumbled upon some days ago:

You are clearly the winner when it comes to Bridge songs, ziggywas. Honourable mention to Psy-Fi too, for this video clip, a little-known outtake from Zabriskie Point:-

^ I have a couple of the instrumentals from The Black Light on mp3; time I gave the whole album a proper listen.

And here's a great track from a Nortec Collective album on which Calexico turn up as guests. ( ADVISORY: This song contains no mention of bridges.)
