Although I've probably done it, permabanning users with post numbers in the hundreds or thousands didn't quite sit right with me. Sometimes, both regular users and mods got caught up in some dumb forum drama and the ban hammer came swinging. It might be there are more old, banned regulars that might be worth unbanning.

idk what the story is with that, Merit's is up too. Maybe the larger mod uploaded images stay up and user uploaded ones get deleted/hidden.

I remember some or perhaps a few getting permbans for circumventing their temporary ban by making new accounts. That might've been how boo boo got his permban? I think Paloma did the same thing and probably more people too.

edit:

Captain Caveman is an old still-banned regular. I vaguely remember trouble following this guy, but I also think many appreciated him. I can't remember why he got the hammer.

The unfan is another.

I don't know much about boo boo except that he apparently banned a whole bunch of people without much cause. That's the thing about permabanned people, I suspect; that they have been beligerent or unruly enough to chase other posters off the forum.
Do we really want to open the can of worms labelled, "Anyone can return, depending on the whim of Exo" ?
