I was trying to say that previously made movies based off comic books or graphic novels, there were a good handful, but that's only a small portion out of the many that were made. Currently the way they are getting made now, just seems like they're doing it to make money and not actually putting effort into making a good film.

That I can agree with. They have been churning out comic book movies at a pretty astronomical rate. That's not always a good thing.

this argument is so boring and tiring.

I disagree. The only time you see comic book movies being made and coming out are during blockbuster movie season for the summer when they can get as much money as possible to make up for the original idea type movies that have come out throughout the year that weren't supported not because it was crap but because people didn't want to see it.

I thought Watchmen and V For Vendetta were good. The Iron Man movies are generally well liked and I hear Thor is highly enjoyable. A lot of people like the X-Men flicks too ..

The two Hellboy movies, especially the sequel were beyond excellent.

Yeah, that second Hellboy movie was great. The first was okay but mostly made good by Ron Perlman's performance.
