I saw Transformers 3 last night...and I LOVED it!!!

If you like the Transformers franchise, you've got to see this movie. Sooo much better than the second movie, and pretty much on par, if not better than, the first movie. Yeah, it has some cheese and glamour camera shots that leave you going "Wha?". But mostly, it was fabulous. It has some real story behind it. And tons of Star Trek references. haha. Pretty great.

yes good god Michael Bay quit with the stupid sun glare shots goddammit. That was my only beef with it and having the new girl running around a practical war zone in heels.

I'm a straight up Star Trek hater so I guess I missed most of said references.

I hated transformers 3. It was weird, the movie seemed like it wanted to be a comedy. Everything was either a cheap montage with corney music or comic relief complete with that asian guy from the trunk in hangover. Just so hollywood it hurt to watch

Were the transformers this dumb in the cartoon? They're a bunch of stereotypical idiots, representing different ethnicities ugh

I thought they did incorporate humans into the mix better, especially with the skydivers that was really cool. But besides that **** this movie i can't believe i spent 10.50$ on it.

Transformers 2 was similar in the comedy part and they had to get rid of those two stereotypical "ghetto" transformers because people hated them.

I liked the comedy aspects of it, they made it fun and light hearted especially with the long run time, you need comic relief here and there. A super serious action movie wasn't going to happen when you want kids to come out and watch it.

Yeah the hispanic red car, I just shook my head at it like wtf didn't you learn from the last one and now you had to include a stereotypical latino just to say that you didn't leave them out. Affirmative action for transformers.

A friend loaned me this movie. It was pretty good. Haven't seen a decent movie like this in awhile.

Black Hawk Down
Two and a half hours of largely indistinguishable people firing guns. It was well put-together but I really would have liked to have seen the characters developed enough for me to actually recognize and care about them.

Generally I don't particularly like "found footage" genre films because their concept is usually just a thin veil to cover up a lack of talent, budget, and skill, but in the case of TrollHunter it works pretty well. It's nice to see countries outside of the US attempting to do big budget action films with larger than life scenes because it gives non-Americans a say in the action movie genre, and sometimes it really works, like in District 9. I have to say it was kind of funny seeing a troll hunter character who should by all rights be a well respected hero be nothing more than a low level government employee. It probably hits a lot closer to home with what a lot of my D&D characters would be like in contemporary days. If you're lucky enough to have this film playing close to you definitely check it out.

This was a great documentary. I loved hearing about how the kids would **** **** up at the shows and just get rowdy as hell, that was really cool. I really liked a lot of the music I heard in this, makes me wanna get into Bad Brains and Black Flag. 8/10

HOLY ****. Probably my new favorite movie. I think this is the only 2 and a half hour movie I've seen where I actually thought it coul've been longer. 10/10
