What's The Latest Film You Have Seen?

if i remember right on the cassette version I(cd also maybe) of "Living In darkness" by Agent Orange the final track was some ungodly long....and pointless....interview with them.....that interview alone made me decided i hate that band.....its like they went out of their way to create that accent

like you i've spent a bit of time down there (i'm literally in Sacramento now

)....and i've never really heard it that bad....save a couple stoner surfer idiots who worshiped jeff spicoli

As a stoner, surfer i would take great offense to this, but Fast times at ridgemont high is pretty damn epic. I don't even notice the accent honestly. In general the only grating accents are usually reserved for Boston and New York.

i like the interview on it. Though I owned the CD for years and just recently listened to it... 99/100 times I will just skip it, but it is not that bad.

One of my all time favorites. Great performances, realistic action, enough cultural insight to make spike lee giddy.

I haven't seen any of the other performances that were nominated that year for Best Actress but they must have been pretty bland. Don't get me wrong, I thought Bates was very good but I just feel like it could have been topped. The movie was good. This was actually my first time sitting through the whole thing. I knew the story and what happens and all that but haven't actually sat through a whole viewing. I enjoyed the movie. It was definitely suspenseful and of course well acted. It has also aged well. Unlike...

7.5/10

I thought the first 45 minutes of this were boring as hell, which I guess was the only way to do it but I just couldn't pay attention. The prom scene was fantastic but I didn't like the end of the movie. Forgettable besides the prom sequence.

Last night, I watched Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD.

Usually, I prefer DAWN because it seems to have more depth. DAY has some messages, but they're a bit more heavy-handed. Plus, the acting is weaker.

But DAY is endlessly quotable, Lori Cardille is a babe, and the gore effects are very very good. So I keep it in the rotation.

Such a great film. I haven't seen it for a few years either. Need to get this on DVD.

Hell yeah, the soundtrack/score is great too.

I just watched NEDS, a film about an intellectually brilliant but troubled Scottish kid. Awesomely, it has subtitles for the Scottish brogue and now I understand a good bit more of the unrecognizable words that Aurora has used here on MB.
