Kind of sounds like what EA did earlier this year with the game Syndicate, slap an old property name of something that really doesn't have much to do with the original property at all except some aesthetic similarities. Color me disinterested, if you're planning on deviating from the source material that much just call it something different so you don't have to deal with the inevitable comparisons.

Well, considering how far the original movie deviated from the short story it's based on, deviating from that may mean it's more like the short story.
