Oh jesus this was good. Just the kind of stupidly over the top, gory, sexy film i like. Me and my mate were laughing the whole way through, complete victory.

Much better than 'Deathproof'. What a yawn fest that was.

@ theboozeisback. The original 'Dawn Of The Dead' is all you need. The remake was for MTV heads with less than 30 seconds of attention span. Who wants tits in a Zombie film? I want gore, good action and a little satire is even better. If you want tits and zombies watch this pile of old tosh:

I think I did see the original Dawn of the Dead... with my dad a while back. I remember liking it a lot. I appreciate good, satirical zombie movies like that, I do. But nowadays it seems like when I watch one I'm just trying to put on something ridiculously overdone so I can just smile smugly and enjoy the gore.

Very rough around the edges but a great Grime soundtrack and the violence is raw and brutal. No punches are pulled.

Not as good as 'Seven Samurai' which it is based upon but still a good morality tale.

Diary of the Dead was horrible. The more I think about it, the more I hate it. The whole idea of this guy with the camera watching as his friends get chased around by zombies was stupid. Seriously, in real life (I know that's funny because we're talking about zombies here...), one of the other guys would have beat the camera guy senseless, destroyed his camera, and either made him help his friends or feed him to wolves. That's what I woulda done anyway. Ugh!

The main problem with the new Dawn of the Dead IMO was the movement of the zombies...they could move faster than regular people...almost like they were super-human or something. It was really bothersome. But I did like the character of Steve. He was funny.

Really, nothing can compare to the originals...the 1967 Night of the Living Dead will always be number one in my book for zombie flicks.

^ Steve was my favorite character in Dawn of the Dead. I love pricks in movies, I don't know why, it just does something for me. I think its because quip rhymes with whip.

I like the zombie films where the zombies are faster than the humans, it gets my heart racing more. I like it when the movie tries to scare me... but the best zombie film I've ever seen was Evil Dead, from like the 60s or 70s. That was good **** right there.

I loved the beginning, but just when the plot started picking up it started sucking. Shame...
