The Flash Gordon homages are great though but yes we get it Mr Mcfarlane Flash Gordon is obviously your favourite film!
I didn't even get all the way through this one. It seemed like a long real life Family Guy episode. And I'm of the opinion that Family Guy needs to stop.

Yeah but it was Family Guy on a good day. Family Guy might be awful these days but back in the day it was damn good. A bit overrated, but still hilarious.

Absolutely. Ted was just a bit too much of the same jokes for me to enjoy it. Though, it could have just been a bad day to watch it. I've wanted to watch it again but it's a pretty straight forward story, so it wouldn't really change much if I watched it again.

It wasn't brilliant, but watching actually good Seth McFarlane jokes made me smile and the relationship between Ted and Mark Wahlberg was genuinely heart-warming. Besides, for some reason I love to watch pretty much anything Mark Wahlberg is in. I just find him to be likable.

Oh, I do too. And as it's been mentioned, Ted looked really good and they did the living bear thing really well. I just didn't like the romance part of it, maybe that was the issue since Mila Kunis can die in a fire. If it had been a movie with just Ted and Wahlberg, it would have been even more amazing. It had a lot of funny moments, but it just wasn't the greatest as I'd hoped it'd be. I'll give it another chance sometime though.

I can stand some family guy. I'm not the biggest of fans, but some gags just crack me up (Have you heard, that the bird is the word ?)
Having said that
Ted was just awful. AWFUL. I felt it insulted my intelligence. The jokes were old and stale, the plot was nonexistent, I felt like I wasted 90 minutes of my life, or however the hell long it was.

I thought Ted was hilarious. But I also thought a huge amount of the humor was very regional. I happen to be from the region in question which is why I thought it was great, but I could imagine it would be a lot less funny if you weren't from the area.

Room 237

i have got to say that this actually really surprised me....really it's more about obsession....real obsession.....these people are to a point of obsessive insanity....and yet the film does not mock them but rather simple points out their case.....the entire film is compromised of shots from Kubrick films....obviously mainly The Shining....and concentrates on conspiracy theories people have created around the hidden meaning of The Shining....very interesting film and very well done

Default American Beauty

I recently watched American Beauty. I absolutely loved it. Kevin Spacey's acting is superb and the ending left me in awe!
