I thought it was okay. It definitely had its moments but they were far and few in between. The homicide detective was hilarious though.

Joe Dirt

It was on Netflix so I decided to watch it again for what seems like the millionth time. I enjoy David Spade a lot as an actor, but there's no doubting this movie isn't the greatest movie out there. However, for a late night comedy, this one is great.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

I went to go see a matinee today and was pretty happy with the result. It was nice seeing a blend of action and downtime, and it pushed the MCU into very interesting directions that I'm looking forward to watch playout over the next 4 years. The only major criticism I have for it is that there seemed to be a lot left on the cutting room floor because it jumps around quite a bit at times when you think the scene should be leading into something, or go on longer. Apparently most of it relates to Thor, and from what I've heard Thor: Ragnarok is going to be the big status quo changer for Phase 3, so I'll just have to wait until the extended edition blu-ray comes out.
