Carnage

I really like movies happening at just one setting, with a limited cast and lots of dialogue. This one wasn't an exeption. While not always convincing, it's still a fun and clever black comedy with well written dialogue and mostly great acting.

You'd love this.

Spectre was not as good as Skyfall or Casino Royale, but probably one of my top ten Bond films. You have to suspnd your disbelief (of course, it's Bond) but there's never a dull moment. Ben Whishaw is outstanding.

Spoiler for plot:
I love how it tied all of Craig's films together, especially the bit when he sees the Vesper interrogation tape in Morocco. I feel there were also salutes to Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service in there too.

Watched Source Code for the second time last night. Brilliant film. Totally mind blowing.

Started watching it last night, but couldn't finish it. Will try again later today.
Feels like some kind of third rate sitcom remake of 'The Exterminating Angel'.
Which is too bad, since the premise is still cool and it could have been a fun movie if it had intelligent writing and good actors.

It's certainly not Oscar worthy, but it fits your definition.

It does, but that kind of movie only works with very good actors and well-written dialogue.
But thanks anyway for the tip. There's also still a chance that the last 20 minutes are going to make me like it.

EDIT: Finished watching it. Today I found it much more enjoyable. Go figure.

Watched The Last Waltz fairwell concert by The Band, directed by Martin Scorsese. Hadn't seen the whole thing before. Really good.

'Roxy & Elsewhere' is possibly my favourite album of his and I pretty much know every note and every word. It's totally surreal to finally see it all with my own eyes. Also interesting to fully notice how much Zappa eventually changed live albums by cutting, splicing and overdubbing.
The video and sound quality are amazing and I love how there are no annoying special effects and the camera isn't all jerky, showing long, clear shots of the musicians. A must-see for everyone who likes Zappa.
